Fence which are part of the house, is not just as barricade line between public street and your land, its also got function as first security from the outside. You might notice big tall fence with electric power as the source, also some small fence with wood, or plants just as decorative that support the house theme.

Outside those type of fence and funcion, fence should be an integral part of building facades. In addition, the fence must have a high aesthetic value, because the fence is the “face” for the imagery that represents the character of the house.

The materials of the fence, indeed have lots of kinds, such as wood, metal, stone, or plant. To determine the type of material used, look after your home theme, use the one that suit the theme.

You should planned the design first before deciding the materials, and should not drown the whole face of the house. In essence, always prioritize harmony and harmony. Straight line design fence suitable for minimalist style. As for the classical-style house, select a curvy design and gives the impression of luxury at home.

The elevation of your fence should the environment your living. If one of your goals using the fence for security, low high fence must be taken into account. Environmentally safe, high fence could be just enough. Whereas if you live in an environment that is less secure, high fence to be the right choice for you.

Coloration, choosing the color of your fence that match your house. It could be similar with your wall, but also could be different, just make sure it’s match with your home.

Another thing to consider is your personal mailboxes, don’t forget it, although it has small size, but if you forget it, you might need to custom mailboxes to match with your fence. The mailboxes itself have lots of type and materials, as an example are bacova mailboxes and bluegrass woods mailboxes.

Gardens are not automatically green. To the contrary, a person who makes a commitment to green living has to put some thought and effort into keeping his garden green. Fortunately, green gardening can start with little green living tips that make a big difference for the environment.
Natural Gardening
One of the most important green gardening tips involves the use of chemicals. People are often tempted to douse their gardens with chemical cocktails to stimulate growth or get rid of pesky insects and plant diseases. This is a green gardening no-no, however. Instead, a person committed to green living typically opts for products that are labeled 100-percent organic. Adding a layer of compost may help as well, making it easier to win the battle against garden pests while also enriching the soil.
A green gardener can make compost using something people often have plenty of: leftover scraps of food. He can take his vegetable and fruit waste, saving it from decaying in a landfill and putting it to work for his plants. Adding natural compost helps to boost soil fertility by giving it a variety of plant-healthy nutrients. It also improves the soil’s overall texture, aerates it and encourages better water retention. Many people use earthworms in their compost bins, but this is not an absolute necessity. Composting is healthy for the garden and the environment, even without the worms.
Green Garden Containers
The containers a gardener uses can make a significant difference for the environment. Whenever possible, a green gardener may recycle materials and reuse them in his garden. For example, a gardener may choose to recycle yogurt containers as planters or even reuse takeout food packages for this purpose. Some people may choose to purchase environmentally friendly planters as well. Peat pots are a popular choice for planting seeds, as they are biodegradable. It’s even possible to make biodegradable plant pots out of something as simple as toilet paper rolls.
Green gardeners try to avoid buying plants in non-biodegradable containers whenever possible. When such purchases are unavoidable, a green gardener may take the container to a recycling center after use or even use it creatively, making an art project or keeping it for storage, for example, rather than sending it on to the local landfill.
Conservation of Water
By harvesting rainwater, a person can conserve water, avoid adding chlorine to his garden and enjoy lower water bills. To do this, a person may simply place a barrel or two outdoors for rainwater collection, topping the barrels with screens to keep debris and insects out. If a gardener is able to collect enough rainwater, he could even use some of it to wash his car.
Taking care with using water is also important in green gardening. During long, hot periods, a gardener may look for ways to make his harvested rainwater last longer. Mulching and composting can help, improving water retention and slowing the evaporation process. A gardener can also cut down on evaporation by watering early in the morning. Using soaker hoses also helps to reduce water waste.
Employ Green Gardening Methods
By employing green gardening methods, those with green thumbs can have healthy gardens and help to protect the environment. Making even small changes in the garden and around the house may have a dramatic effect on the earth for years to come.

Greenhouses come in a variety of sizes, construction materials, and accoutrements from large structures that can produce commercial quantities to six by ten foot structures and cold frames. For the home gardener in Texas, hobby greenhouses are usually used in the cool weather months to extend the growing season and start seedlings. Cooling greenhouses in Texas summers is rarely practical for the home vegetable gardener.
Texas Greenhouse Structures
According to the Texas A&M greenhouse management guide, “Ridge and furrow houses provide the greatest efficiency in crop production. Aluminum is the most durable and commonly used framing material for commercial greenhouse structures. Double sheets of polyethylene film is the most economical covering material available for Texas producers.”
Venting and Heating Hobby Greenhouses in Texas
Greenhouses get quite warm even on cool winter days. So a gardener needs to be able to vent the greenhouse either by leaving doors open or having vents that can be open during the day and closed at night.
Heating a hobby greenhouse can be difficult and costly. However, many home gardeners have found that the heat generated by large Christmas lights is sufficient to keep plants in a closed greenhouse from freeze or frost damage. A hobby greenhouse gardener can also use low wattage heat mats under the plant trays to raise the temperatures 10-20 degrees which is sufficient to protect plants in most Texas winters.
Watering and Humidity Control in Hobby Greenhouses
Greenhouse plants need access to water. Depending on the size of the greenhouse, watering plants may be as simple as using a sprinkling can or soaker hose when the plants need water. However, unless the greenhouse has its own connection to outside water with pipes protected from cold temperatures, the home greenhouse gardener will be transporting water in cans or connecting and then disconnecting the hose each time.
Leaf transpiration and condensation may create too much humidity in the greenhouse which encourages pests and diseases. For the home gardener, the best humidity controls include venting to release moisture including occasionally using a fan for air circulation and adequate plant spacing to allow drying through air movement. One may also choose a greenhouse plastic covering that has been treated to prevent condensation.
Greenhouse Pest Control and Disease Management
Insects and disease are part of gardening, even in greenhouses. Here are a few simple things you can do to reduce the insect and disease problems in a hobby greenhouse. Take heart that in Texas winters there are fewer insects out and about waiting to attack.
•	Cover all soil floor surfaces with concrete, black plastic or weed barrier, advises the National Sustainable Agriculture Information Service.
•	Keep all gardening tools clean
•	Check plants frequently for insect or disease problems—a small infestation can move quickly in a greenhouse
•	Use insecticidal soap against aphids which are a common greenhouse pest
•	Remove standing water where pests can breed
•	Maintain adequate plant spacing to allow air drying of leaves
•	Remove infected plants from the greenhouse and destroy them
•	Place diatomaceous earth around benches and plants stands to control slugs and snails
An excellent resource on greenhouse integrated pest management is offered by the University of Illinois Extension Service.
A hobby greenhouse allows a Texas gardener to have salad crops and culinary herbs available all winter. It is also an ideal place to grow favorite, but hard to find, seedlings for later transplantation into the vegetable garden.

In the cities of China today, especially in the Special Economic Zones, the major highways, hotels, high-tech business parks are all stocked and manicured with enough vegetation to overwhelm every insert, bird and rabbit on the planet. In short, the people with the money have all the green. District governments adorn their highways and byways with enough flowers, bushes and trees to make one wonder, who’s coming to town. Hotels and industrial parks have vast juggles guarding their perimeters. Throughout all these areas in China, the sidewalks, promenades and plazas employ armies of caretakers. Brown skinned and lean, they toil till sun down. Their work is beautiful. And, let it be known, there is a lot more than meets the eye. These are not just trees, roses, and bushes, arranged to look beautiful. Fengshui takes precedence.
Limited space for gardening pleasure
But what about home gardening? What home? A home in China is an apartment in the city or a brick abode in the country. No one has a house. Maybe there’s a scattering of private homes with the advent of millions of millionaires, from China’s modernization. But many of these are not in view. City dwellers are apartment dwellers. Should you visit China, you will not believe the number of units stacked on the land. Where is their room for a garden? Gardening is a peaceful, personal, spiritual process. We grow things and we are amazed with the process of life. A garden is a prayer.
The countryside
There’s a lot of land in China. Plenty of farmers. Take a long train ride through the country and you will see many fields of green, but not from the love of gardening. Scattered around a country house you may see many patches of vegetables growing. They are watered daily because the people want to eat. But those discretely edged fields, some long and wide, others zig-zaging through hills and hollows, still others grabbing what few inches of land they can, are the farmers’ crop for the market. Their gardening hats are not like yours. Theirs are the same color, the same shape and made from the same material. As modernization continues, some farmers are forced to sell their land for less than it’s worth. When they unite and protest they are roughed up and the soil takes on a different hue under the buffalo’s hoof. Then factories spring up where once there were bananas, Litchi, Dragon-eye, and too many vegetables to name.
Not for the joy of watching it grow
Chinese will always be a land of peach blossoms and lotus root. And the Chinese will always be cultivating something in the soil around their home. But the beauty found in the garden is not the joy of planting, it’s the joy of taking a wagon load of fresh ripe healthy produce to town.
